While there are a few really ingenious improvements on modern life, one item long overdue for an upgrade is the wall power socket. We’ve tried putting them in the floor or ceiling; we’ve tried adding power strips and surge protectors, but none of these things have really made substantial improvements. Enter the recoiling power socket by Meysam Movahedi’s. These sockets eliminate cable clutter by putting an extension cord in the wall itself (too bad if you have brick or concrete). Squeeze the little ears to release the socket’s core and out it comes, trailing a snaky 1.5 meters (5-feet) of cable behind it.
When you’re done, you just give it a little tug and the spring-loaded mechanism within winds it back into the bulkhead, just like the cord in a vacuum cleaner. All in all it’s a very nice solution Go see it
